Meditation is a very important tool to any magic practitioner. When you meditate, you are interacting directly with the metaphysical planes, and yourself.
Grounding and Chakra cleansing:
Do this whenever you feel negative influences or you feel clogged. Or just periodically for ideal health.
Do a quick void meditation beforehand for maximum results.
Imagine lightning blue energy engulfing your energy body. Allow it to fully engulf you, circulate around you, fill you, cover you. Allow it to flow through your chakras, and clean you like water. Feel the blockages, smog, and negative energies being purged, and feel them draining through your feet and into the ground. Imagine them the blue energy filling you and taking up all space, cleaning you thoroughly so no negative blockages or energy remains. Really feel it engulf you. Hold this state for a bit, it should feel very good and refreshing. Whenever you are done, allow it to drain. You will feel rejuvenated.
Void meditation:
Do this before you do any magical workings, or any workings in general.
Clear your mind. Focus either on nothing, your breath, or one thing in specific (a picture). Lose yourself within it, do not think about anything. You will go into a meditative state and have no sense of time passing. After you snap out of it you will feel very concentrated, and prepared to get some work done efficiently.
Mindful release:
Doing this occasionally is very healthy for the mind, influences, thoughtforms, and feelings build up that need released.
Sit down, and allow everything to flow. Concentrate on nothing, but allow everything to act. Let go completely, whatever happens, happens. Whatever you think, don't think about it, just let it out. Let it all out, don't try to let it out, just let it flow naturally. If something is being suppressed, or held back, it will come out. Let it. Whenever you are finished, you should feel much better. You may cry, get horny, or think of a bad repressed thought. That will pass. You must allow these mental blockages hidden deeply out. You will feel much better soon afterwords.
Self Reflection:
Doing this occasionally is good for the soul, and can get you concentrated.
Concentrate. Think the farthest back in your life possible. Remember everything, think about your entire life. Everything you have done, bad and good, remember all of it. Rejoice, regret, do it all. You will end up remembering things you haven't remembered forever, and you may want to improve in a certain way or you may feel very pleasured. You will also analyze what you have done thus far, and how you want to make your future in comparison to your past or present. It is very eye opening.
